New, full-time family physicians in Kingston are eligible for a $100,000 incentive paid out in instalments over 5 years. To be eligible, physicians can either establish a new practice
within the City of Kingston or take over an existing roster of patients from a departing or retiring physician.
In addition to a financial incentive, physicians can access the Dual Career Support Program. This made-in-Kingston initiative assists partners of relocating physicians in finding employment and connecting with the community.
